Chad M. Wentzel,

age 50, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully in his childhood home on January 4, 2022 after a yearlong battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer.

He will always be remembered for his genuine love for everyone he met. He will be deeply missed.

Chad is preceded in death by his mother, Judy Wentzel. Survived by his father, Earl Wentzel; sister, Kellie (Jeremy) Clegg; brother, Jeremy (Shelly) Wentzel; daughter, Krystin Carlson and grandsons, David, Daniel, and Levi; nieces, Hope and Leia and nephew, Lucas; girlfriend, Heather Swanson and her children, Tori (Victoria) and CJ (Christian James).

Funeral service, 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 13, 2022, First Free Evangelical Church, 5150 Chicago Ave., Mpls.  Visitation 5 – 7 PM, Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary,  3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls. and one hour prior to service at the church.  A private burial at Estes Brooks Church will take place on Friday, January 14, 2022.

Please be aware face masks will be required at all venues.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in Chad’s name.
