Nelson, Catherine F.
age 82, of S. Mpls. Born June 3, 1929 in Long Prairie to William & Mary Zehnle, passed away Nov. 5, 2011. Catherine was a member of the Seaman- Gilfoy VFW Women’s Auxiliary and a 60-year member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Virgil and granddaughter, Emily Nelson-Kesler. She will be dearly missed by son, Mark (Tarri); daughters, Julie (Jim) Hillenbrand, Patti Boller; grandchildren, Sarah, Molly and Joe Hillenbrand, Matt and Andrea Nelson, Ashley and Lindsey Boller; great-granddaughter, Layla; siblings, Julia Zehnle, Marie Stepaniak and Rudy Zehnle; several godchildren, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 AM Wed., Nov. 9, 2011 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 24th St. & 18th Ave S. Visitation 4-7 PM Tuesday at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave S., Mpls. and 1/2 hour prior to Mass at the church. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made.
