Cardinal, Carole A.
Age 87 of Inver Grove Heights, formerly of South Minneapolis, born January 29, 1931 in Wanamingo, MN, to Oscar & Theresa Bakko, passed away April 9, 2018. Carole was an active member of the Church of St. Helena, and a lifetime member of the Giant Valley American Legion Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles and sister, Phyllis Zenk. Carole will be dearly missed by her son, Jeff (Sheryl), daughters: Teresa (Dave) Gangelhoff, Laura (Tim) Marker, Cara (Dave) Lardy, Lisa Cardinal & John; grandchildren: Jaime, Michelle, Anna, Katie, Ben, Emily, and John; 10 great-grandchildren and one more on the way; brother, Gary Bakko; and many other family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial, 10 AM, Friday, April 13, 2018 with visitation one hour before at the Church of St. Helena, 3204 E. 43rd St., Mpls. Visitation, 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Thursday at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls and one hour before the Mass at church. Carole will be laid to rest with her husband, Charles at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made.
