Birgit “Bibbi” Brown, 77, of Burnsville, passed away Friday surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 14, 1934 in Esbjerg, Denmark to George and Ana (nee Ronn) Andersen. Bibbi is survived by her husband of 55 years, Tom, daughters Linda (Gary) Nelson, Lisa (Randall) Peterson, Lora (Ashley) Dean, and Lona (James) Brim, son Tom Brown, grandchildren Tiffany Nelson, Kayla, Ali, and Austin Peterson, Bryce Nelson, and Marcus Brim, step-grandson Justin Brim, sister Helen Gronlund, several nieces and nephews, and constant companion, Princess. She was preceded in death by her sisters Grethe and Inger. Bibbi passionately nurtured relationships in her own family as well as others, living out that love by knitting and hosting foreign exchange students. She will be forever treasured, loved, and missed. Memorial Mass is scheduled for 12 NOON Thursday, February 16 at Mary Mother of the Church, 3333 East Cliff Road, Burnsville, with a Gathering of Friends and family 1 hour prior. Memorials preferred.
