Betty and Emil were so supportive of our family at graduations, weddings and other events. We enjoyed visiting Emil and Betty in their beautiful apartment in Eagan. Betty will be missed as a gracious, beautiful lady that never seemed to age. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you in their beautiful family. We love you all. God bless you in this most difficult time.

Dan, Dave, Joan, Betty and families, I was very sad to hear about Aunt Betty. She was a beautiful, gracious and loving lady. I always admired and loved her and your father, Emil. She is the last of a generation of Substads that influenced all of our lives and she will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Kay
