Sending belated condolences from the Simpson family. While going through a box of old letters of my parents', I found one from Clyde referring to them arriving in Dutch Harbor in 1942. That prompted further investigation, and I found Bert's obit. The friendship of Clyde, Bert, Fred and Frank was remarkable in that it began during the war and continued as long as they were able to get together. I am glad Bert lived such a long and full life. I have warm memories of your family long ago, and hope you are doing well.;
